About Rotevia

Rotevia started from a simple observation: most small pharmacies run their rota on a spreadsheet, a group chat and a good memory.

The problem we picked

Shift scheduling software exists, but most of it is built for restaurants and retail chains. Pharmacy rotas have their own shape — a responsible pharmacist who must be present, dispensers on fixed part-time patterns, a locum most Saturdays, a trainee who cannot work Thursdays in term time, and several different hourly rates.

Rotevia is built around that shape first, then generalised outwards to clinics and other small shift-based teams.

What we care about

  • A manager should never need to learn what a recurrence rule is.
  • Changing one Friday should not change every Friday.
  • A pay rise should not rewrite last month’s payroll.
  • The tool should be faster than the spreadsheet it replaces, every single week.

Where we are

Rotevia is new. We would rather say that plainly than decorate the site with invented customers and review scores. If you run a pharmacy and try it, we genuinely want to hear what breaks.
